Delete your account

If you cannot sign in, or you have already removed the app, send a deletion request to contact@ybkmtechventures.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line Delete my Platrr account.

We will confirm your identity, delete the account and reply to confirm once it is done. Requests are actioned within 30 days of receipt.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted we permanently remove:

• Your account and login credentials
• Your profile, display name, photo and preferences
• Your logged visits, dishes, ratings, notes and uploaded photographs
• Your lists, collections and badges
• Your Taste Room membership and the posts you made in them
• Any identity verification record held against your profile

What may be kept, and why

A small amount of information may be retained after deletion:

• Records we are legally required to keep, such as transaction and tax records where a paid subscription was involved. These are kept for the period Indian law requires and are not used for any other purpose.
• Aggregated statistics that no longer identify you, for example a count of how many people used a feature.
• Backups. Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to [confirm: backup rotation period, commonly 30 to 90 days] days before those backups are overwritten in the normal cycle.
